Saw that coming... (video iPod)

In a similar vein to some thoughts I shared back in January, Apple is gradually easing their way into the video market. Today they released a new iPod that can handle video: Apple unveils video iPod, strikes deal with ABC.

It won't be long now until we're purchasing movies via iTunes. By the way, did anyone else notice the "Videos" tab in the latest iTunes release. Just curious.

Back in my day we had iPods that played music.

And they cost $1500 and they weighed 80 lbs. and they held four songs and the songs were 29 seconds each and it had that weird milky green GameBoy sort of screen and it only came in beige and it was 3 feet long and you had to like rent an elephant from Apple to carry it around and infact you couldn't even carry it around because you had to have it plugged into an atomic iReactor ($20,000) and it could only hold one picture, black and white, and you couldn't even see the picture but we knew it was there........
