From the I-Ching or Book of Changes:

-----------

Remain silent, and you sink into a realm of shadows; speak, and you fall into a deep pit.

Try, and you're as far away as sky from earth; give up, and you'll never attain.

Enormous waves go on and on, foaming breakers flood the skies who’s got the bright pearl that calms the oceans?

--------

I read II Cor. 3: 17-18 and I see the power of liberty, outside the tedium of the written law. How it correlates to I-Ching? The Lord provides the Spirit, giving us the ability to truly live and develop. It is that which lets us work in peace, what calms the waves.

To know that God is molding us even in our difficulty, in our stubborness, our ear-clamping and eye-taping.

---------

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Isn't it wonderful how the Word revolutionizes our outlook as well as our selves??
