God's Power Display

There was a really beautiful storm the other night and I rushed out to watch a little bit of God's power display. I found that it was rather difficult to try to take a picture of lightning with a digital camera. Because of the delay from the point you press the button and the time it actually takes the picture you can miss a great lightning strike. There were much better flashes that night, but this was the best one I could get. I included my first tries, so you could appreciate my hard work. :)

When He utters His voice, {there is} a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses. Jer 10:13

A Passion for Study

Oh Lord, give me more of a desire for self study. My relationship with you hangs on it! My relationship with others hangs on it! my ability and passion to serve you hangs on it! May I have more and more of a desire to eat and to drink your word. It is truth and it is life! This is my prayer.
