Bonnie Scotland...

Scotland is beautiful! We're presently on a road trip. We went to Loch Lomond and climed a mountain near by. I got some pictues of some sheep and a family of Muckle Coo (highland cows). We're on our way to a place called Rest and be Thankful.

Pray for us tomorrow night, we'll be doing one of our scripts. We were able to repaint the church and hang some cove molding. I got some before and after pictures.

We're passing Loch Long now. From what we've been told Scotland often houses some of their Trident nuclear subs here. I haven't seen any yet. 8o)

Thanks for your prayers.

Scotland...

We've made it to Scotland safely. We drove from the east most point of England (Oulton Broud) to the west side os Scotland (Troon). The drive took about ten hours.

Our time in Troon has been great. We've enjoyed meeting many of the local teenagers. We are having youth meeting tomorrow at 7pm GMT (2pm EST). Please pray that the meeting goes well. We will also be doing more services on Sunday. Prayers for those would be apreciated as well.

I'm currently on a ferry that is pulling up to the shore of the Isle of Arran. We're planing on doing a little hiking and possibly some quad running if the price is right. 8o)

Cheers!

East-most England...

We're in Oulton Broad now. We're working with Kyle Paisley this week. We've been enjoying our time here. There have been a variety of services: nursing homes, children's meetings, and a normal midweek service. We did our Mueller script for the mid-week service.

At the end of our presentation a man got up from the congregation and told us that he had grown up in George Mueller's orphanage. He told us some things about the work there an how it continues to grow. He also gave us some literature about Mueller and the Foundation. It was very encouraging and inspiring to meet someone who had been influenced by Mueller's work.

Today we were able to visit Cambridge. The highlight of the trip was visiting King's College Chapel. It is probably the most beautiful building we've been in yet.

Thank you all for your continued prayer support. We'll be leaving for Scotland Monday (a 10-12 hour trip). Please pray that every thing will go smoothly.

Cheers. 8o)

Green's College, Oxford...

I'm writing this post from Green's College in Oxford. We are each visiting a family from the church tonight. Our host asked if we wanted to see where he went to school so we walk around the corner and found ourselves in Green College.

We're almost done here in Oxford. We leafleted all day today. Tomorrow we will be doing 4 services. Please be in prayer for our strength and health. Monday we'll be leaving for Kyle Paisley's church in Olton Broad (the east most point of Britian). The week after that we'll be off to Scotland.

Love to you all.

Oxford...

It's amazing here. This week has been crammed with stuff already. We're working with three different churches. Two in Birmingham (the Lords and Cunningham's) and one here in Oxford (the Sheers).

We did a service last night that went well, and another service on Tuesday for some kids and teens that came to the Lords' church in Brimingham (btw, it's an hour and a half away from Oxford).

Please pray for use this week. Because we're so busy and everyone is getting tired we're going to be in need of more grace then usual. 8o) We've already had some wonderful opportunities to witness. Pray that we'll stay sharp and be careful not to become an extra stumbling block to the people we meet.

Well, I'm down to 5 minutes on my time on this Internet Station. It cost £1 ($1.50) for 15 minutes. Other than this location and maybe the Public Library we aren't really going to have much access to e-mail and such this week (mostly due to our schedule).

Thank you all for your prayers. I will be praying for you all while we travel. My main prayer is that God will ignite a fire inside all of us this summer, so that the world will fill the impact of what dedicated Christ-like people actually are.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Love to you all. 8o)

On to Oxford...

We're heading to Oxford tomorrow. The work place of C.S. Lewis! We will be leaving from Brimpton tomorrow at around 9 am GMT (4 am EST). After we arrive and move into the Youth Hostel, we may try and take a train into London for some of the Queen's Jubilee.

We have a full schedule for our time in Oxford. We will be working with a church there as well as one an hour and a half away in Birmingham. We'll be renting a 15 passenger mini-bus for the trip.

The time here in Brimpton has been wonderful.

The Lord has given us many opportunities to be living testimonies of Christ likeness. We have been enjoying our time with the Dotsons. The people here in the church are wonderful as well. Our services have gone well. I was able to give a testimony/challenge on Wednesday night and a sing a solo ("Be Though My Vision") on Thursday night.

Today we did our Mueller script in the morning and Sam Bray preached in the evening. There was a strong gospel message given at the end. Please pray for all the people we've been meeting here. Many of them need the Lord.

Please also pray that God will continue to work in each of the team member's lives. Pray that we will remember constantly that He is sufficient. It is easy (even on a mission team) to focus on the things around you, and not on heavenly things. Pray that the Lord will keep our affections focused above, and that we will all grow in Christ likeness.

Love to you all. 8o)
