Yes, it's been a long day.
you know how you can go for some 27 years without ever hearing of a particular thing?
and you know how someone finally mentions it, and then you encounter it everywhere you go?
like that one time someone finally mentioned monkeypox symptoms to me. i had never been concerned about monkeypox before. why should i be?
but today, not ten days after i am first notified about monkeypox's very existence, look what's on the front page of my local paper!

i'm not talking about monkeypox here. i'm talking about one of those weird occurrences in life. the vast gap between ignorance and awareness.
