Charleston

I love this place. I'm there right now, sitting in my friend's kitchen enjoying a lazy Saturday morning. Stephen and Anna are great. They are living and caring for a older gentlemen that is paraplegic from Vietnam War. The house is right off of King & Broad, so everything is within walking distance.

I arrived yesterday afternoon around 4pm and I'm staying until Sunday afternoon. We've been planning to do this for several months, just to get together and relax. So far, I've had a great time. I really needed this after a long week with my boss out of town. Last night, Anna cooked homemade stuffed grape leaves that were amazing! I've had grape leaves before, but homemade and served with a little bit of plain yogurt and cinnamon is just incredible.
After dinner, we took a walk along King street to check out the fun little boutiques, shops, and galleries. We ended up at a fun little french restaurant on Broad called Gualart & Maliclet where we sat around and drank French Press coffee and ate yummy croissants.
Further Charleston adventures to come...
