For those very interested in the Browser Wars, you might be interested in scanning the Browser Innovation article by Mitchell Baker.
His comment on KHTML based browsers (i.e., Apple's Safari) is that it "has a ways to go to catch up with rendering real web pages." While I like what I've seen of Safari overall, it still does leave much to be desired in the realm of rendering. I'm afraid you'll see what I mean in the new version of the University's site when it's released soon (more on that later).
