It's the beginning of a new semester. I just finished teaching my last of five classes. As I walked back to my office, I realized I was smiling and humming. I realized once again that I love to teach.
There was a time in my life that I said I'd NEVER teach.
No, I said I'd never ever teach.
No, I said I'd never ever ever ever ever ever teach.
It's a long story but little by little, purposefully and carefully God showed me that He had created in me a love of teaching. Through His guidance, leading and careful loving direction that love had to be uncovered, nurtured, tested, tried and developed.
Oh, there are days that put this love to the test, hard days, busy days, long days. But then I have a day like today again; I hum and sing and smile and shout to the world: I LOVE TO TEACH!
I'm glad the Lord knows what is what we really need and want to do. And I'm glad I let Him lead the way. His way is best!
