Posted by: hgils at February 26, 2006 01:49 AMfrench film-maker. on some panel. the other guest panelist (i assume it was some sort of retro inside-the-actors-studio bru-ha-ha) commented that a movie "should have a beginning, a middle, and an end." godard replied as quoted above. (his films were a little wacky. hard to follow, apparently. one can only venture to guess why after a speech like that.)
