Fractals

I recently stumbled across this amazing website - Fractal World Gallery

Curiosity lead me to wikipedia for some quick education:
Wikipedia: Fractals This is amazing stuff! Click on the self-similar link on the wikipedia page and also on Koch snowflake.

A fractal as a geometric object generally has the following features:
- It has a fine structure at arbitrarily small scales.
- It is too irregular to be easily described in traditional Euclidean geometric language.
- It is self-similar (at least approximately or stochastically).
- It has a Hausdorff dimension which is greater than its topological dimension (although this requirement is not met by space-filling curves such as the Hilbert curve).
- It has a simple and recursive definition.

All I can do is praise and give God glory for His amazing creation. Finite mathematics that show us a glimpse of infinity. Not that God or infinity/eternity are self-similar or repetitive... just the concept of limitlessness (is that a word?).
Which brings me to think about eternity... When I ponder thoughts of heaven, thanks to Peter Hubbard's sermon, I can only think of NO CLOY!!!!

"He shall be the end of our desires who shall be seen without end, loved without cloy, praised without weariness." Augustine
