have i highly recommended half.com?
i realize that the $29.23 price is saving $13.76 off retail.
but i really do think that you might be able to get it even cheaper if you set it as a wishlist item through half.com
and set a minimal price/condition you're willing to wait for.
if it's too late and you've already got it en route, no worries.
i agree, you're definitely getting a great deal. =)
and -- oh yeah! -- you're getting a great Bible!
I love half.com Joy. Really. I thought about it, since I had gotten so many great books there before. But I just went ahead with Amazon for this.
But thanks for the reminder/commercial. I always suggest people look there. It's amazing (you see this especially on E-bay) how people will pay for things over the internet and not realize (usually because they didn't look in more than one place) how much they are overpaying.
Posted by: micah at November 4, 2004 10:49 AMsweet! i've really enjoyed the method of the Bible and its margins. to the untrained eye, mine looks a bit like a kid got loose with some colored pens, but really it's the markings of study that iw changing me. may it be the same for you.
grace and peace
David, I was hoping you would notice. I had seen it before in the store. But not closely. But I saw it on your blog, and I went to Amazon and looked inside it more closely.
I don't have a bible that I can really write in when I study. I love my parallel bible, but it is small print and no margins. So, I'm going to use them in conjunction.
