Hear the bells ringing;
Hear the people singing.
Here is the Christ shining;
Here is the Spirit moving.

Fare, with people sitting;
Fare, with Saints staying.
Fair our God in promising;
Fair our God in keeping.

Two natures keep fighting;
Two forces keep dancing.
To nurture the winning,
To fight the losing:

Trust only the guiding,
Believe only the keeping,
Of God and His completing
Work.
