The Most Recent Goings-on

Does anyone wonder what happend to Brian and Beth? or are we pretty much forgotten about?

That's all right . . . At least we love each other :-)

BRIAN:
Still majoring in Bible and minoring in Music. His roommates this year are Andrew, Tim (his brother) and Pat. All of them are fine fellows. President of Alpha Theta Pi and ISC Chaplain. Still works at the Brokenshire Checkout Desk. Just finished his first block course a week or so ago, and will be embarking on new block courses soon. Looks very handsome all the time . . . loves to wear the color blue. When asked about the busyness of his schedule keeping him and Beth apart he says, "I het dis!"

BETH:
Still majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in German. Will be going on the German Mission Team in May of '05 and is very excited at the opportunity. Learned a new german word: unwiderstehlich (oon-vee-der-shtay-leehk) . . . it means irresistible. Works at BJU Press and also works a couple nights a week as a nanny for Cullen (9) and Corbett (6)---two extremely energetic kids. Sister Kamarie recently married on October 8th: "the wedding was beautiful," Beth commented when asked. "And I didn't even cry!"

Unwiderstehlich. A good word.

Well, you're in luck. I am a proverbial vending machine of relational advice.

First, you need to drop the German. As the language of Third Reichers everywhere, it has overwhelmingly low love potential. Now Lederhosen, well that's a different story...

Second, spend exorbiant amounts of time writing emails with exorbiant amounts of :-), LYL, and the always dependable XOXOXO.

Third, don't read books together -- what a waste of paper. Instead, buy several reams of college-ruled paper and make large, cumbersome hats. Write "I'm in love" all over them and wear them on a consistent basis downtown.

And lastly, to best fan the already kindled flame in your realtionship, follow your heart. For neither wind nor rain, storm nor heat can keep apart the wild stallions of true and upright passion.

...so...uh...ummm.... i can't believe i've just written the above, but the post button beckons, so...
