Fact 18:

supper.

We had chicken noodle soup (2 cans),
a dish of broccoli and cauliflower (prepared in the microwave and seasoned with salt and butter),
and a pot of tea.

There was a candle on the table, and we watched three episodes of Two Fat Ladies cooking glorious meals in beautiful locales, entertaining hardworking groups of workers.

Fact 19:

I am tired.

i was not

prepared for the man to show up,

and when he did—the man who actually did show up

is truly better in every way than I ever was or could be. makes

me not want to be a Christian. He's that much better

than he was, or than I could hope.

I could die for
failing Christ as I
have. so unprepared

to be a life

I do not feel well today. This is a feeling and it will pass. I have a life. It is a good life. My life matters. I will start dinner and lie down for a few minutes.

My children are home at the moment. One is working in the yard with her boyfriend. The other is in the house. My husband is just home from work and catching up on a project for this week's MFA online class. He's caught up and should be able to take his tie off soon.

Now, to the kitchen, and pull those lip corners up, girl.

One,

Another,
