Pie & Thanks Design

Our church hosts an Annual Neighborhood Thanksgiving Pie and Praise Fellowship the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving Day. I designed up a little campaign for it. The flyers will be 4-per 8.5"x11" and they will be cut diagonally. Hopefully, it will get more of a look than a normal church flyer.
We are excited about the oppurtunity to share the season with those in the neighborhoods around our church building.
If you would like to print some off for yourself. Here is the PDF file.
Jon, I love the designs you make, and I hope this will be a great turnout for your church. Your talent is really helping you through the ministry. Keep it up and Good luck. Love you

How did you make the logo contour so nicely to the whipped cream?
Posted by: Michael C. at November 5, 2005 02:52 PMThanks guys...this was a fun one to work on.
Michael, I used the liquify filter in Photoshop, then popped the Color Burn Blending mode on. I also adjusted the Underlying layers to allow some of the white pop through.
In liquify view, I turned on the background view and showed it at 100%, so I could get a better look at what I was warping to.
Wasn't too hard took me about 5 minutes to get it to look semi-realistic.

It's been a while since we've worked together, but I haven't forgotten how you work. Five minutes for Jon Kopp means a lot longer for the rest of us! :-)
