There's a blog here (one of the first actually) that I think could use some more traffic. The jbo blog has some good reads that I think we could all benefit from.
I recently wandered back through myself and came across this blog: jbo: vantage. Excellent thoughts and insight.
Enjoy. 8o)
This weekend my good friend Hillary Hoagland came down. I think the entire campus was glad to see her again. 8o) She was greeted by squeals from the girls and "Hey Hillaries" from the guys all around campus.
Sunday night, Gabe Egolf, Laurie Mehus, Hillary, and I went out to Zaxby's and had a good old time. After that we went to my house and drank real apple cider and looked at Scotland pictures. We all enjoyed talking about dreams of visiting the UK. Before we left the house we took a "band-aid" (iZone) picture on the coach. We made sure that Hillary had something to remember the fun with. She left with her very own Young-front-door-pine-cone-basket pine cone. 8o) One of the authentic North Carolina variety. 8o)
We were all sad to see her go, but it's nice to know that she'll be back at Thanksgiving if the Lord allows. It's nice to know that in the meantime He'll be taking care of our Hillary. Campus just isn't the same without her. 8o)
We love you Hillary. 8o)
The anticipation is finally nearing an end. 8o) Justin's show will be opening on September 30th. For those of you who don't know Justin, you can visit www.bigbluehat.com/illustration/gerard/ to find out more about him and his work. He'll be selling many of his originals as well as prints. Just thought I'd let you all know. Please be in prayer for its success and come if you can.
The show will be up from September 30th through October 11th in the Sargent Art Building at BJU.
Well, it's finally happened. Another one of my friends has started a blog on my site. I'd like more people to follow suite btw. 8o)
His name is James Micah Bohannon. Some of you already know him. For those of you who don't you can visit his blog at www.bensfriends.com/jbo/ (JBo is his nick name). He's already a better blogger than I am, and I'm sure he'll keep it up. 8o)
For those of you who would like to join the BensFriends.com web site please e-mail me ([email protected]). I would really like others to be able to have blogs on here for their friends as well. It really is a very simple thing to use, and I'll be more than happy to set it up for you.
Now that I have Micah as a good example I may be blogging more, so stay tuned. 8o)
